"Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen is - hands down - the best damn book I've read this whole year.
And now Hollywood has gone and ruined it by casting Robert Pattinson (Edward the vampire in Twilight) as the lead for the movie - he's cute enough - but he sucks at acting. (no vampire pun intended.)
sigh.
