Hi Andrea. I realized the other day, I had never been to your website. I browsed around a bit, looked at some awesome and humorous topics, scoped out some of your designs in the "shop online" forum, met your instructors, took a gander inside your store and ended with a walk thru your creativity gallery. I have to admit, I really enjoyed visiting your store, via the internet. So? When is the bead challenge?

I am misty eyed.

and surprised!

~and find I'm at a loss for the tender, proper words, to thank you for this...

He is proud of this woman, The Bead Lady, this artisan, the most beautiful lamp-working you have ever seen. What this woman does with a couple of different colored glass rods, some frit and a flame,a lot of heart, not to mention imagination, is way beyond me. Her designs for necklaces, bracelets and ear rings are stunning. The classes she teaches, everybody wants to take. She has taught Carlie well, who has a demand for her own designs too. I recognize this and I'm proud . But it doesn't end there, her paintings and drawings should be in a studio. But, what I enjoy most from this woman is her ability to write. Andrea's news letters are one of a kind. I never new little letters put into words that became sentences, that turned into paragraphs and ended up as stories, could end up so beautiful, heart warming and funny. Her story of when we went to NYC, 2 weeks after 9/11 was wonderful and still chokes me up, nine years later. This made the newspaper. The business woman. The Mother of our 3 wonderful and talented kids. The home maker and store owner. My partner, my wife. Such a talent she is. I fell in love and married Andrea over 30 years ago. Bud Mazzenga

you're just mushy cause you have "naturally curly hair"

thanks for all the nice comments...it means a lot.. we love you Melissa!

wikipedia: Frieda has red naturally curly hair, of which she is quite proud. She was the only girl on Charlie Brown's baseball team to not wear a cap because it would cover up her naturally curly hair. She often wears dresses, usually purple. She also wears tennis shoes and has an upturned nose.

I just wanted to tell you guys how much I appreciate you both. I am truly grateful to have you both in my life, and thank god every day that I have you guys.

Carlie - you are teaching me how to be more assertive, get what I want, not let people walk all over me and how to stand up for myself. Not to mention how to be an amazing friend.

Andrea - you are an amazing women and I can only hope to be as awesome as you one day. Your presence in my life has changed me to be a better me. You have given me so much more than beads, you have given me confidence, creativity, and immense joy on a level that I cannot compare to anything else.

Buttercup Beads is not just a bead store, but a hug on a bad day, an inspiration for a dry spell, a kick in the arse when you need it and overall filled with love and warmth. It is heaven in every sense of the word.
