On Kitty. And a couple of bead things.
Feb 1, 2009
January flew by without me even getting a moment to find time to write. Time flies when you're busy, I reckon.
Here's a little "bead=cap" for you, as it were:
New beads in, new beads out. (some didn't even wait until we got them labeled.) Carlie complaining, Carlie not complaining.
Christmas decorations down. Except for the few that I just noticed tonight. In-laws... moved in. (well, almost. they're still bringing more stuff in...) Weather cooperated. Weather not cooperated. (We still have an ice=lawn, do you?) New beads in, still not out.
1/23/09 Sad news: Orange cat at gets smished by car. Carlie sad. Buddy sad. Momma sad. Pappa most sad. ("his best friend died" - he wrote on the calendar.) Poor Kitty.
1/23/09 Happy note: In-law's dog NOT sad. (Sparky "with an I.") Smished kitty used to hiss and swat at him. Two other cats (Lucy & Mimi) - still breathing. Cat hair reduced. Litter box cleaner.
Helps, but not much...
Snow/Ice fell - bloodstains washed from the road now...
Kitty ashes returned in a little orange kitty tin, notecard footprints, soft orange hair clippings. Sigh...Ash Kitty sits on Pappa's bookshelf now...
Sparki with the I, still happy.
Family doing better...
1/30/09 Happy News: Riiiiinnnnngg: Princess Lisa's secretary, Dame Beth: "We think you should have a Super Bowl Sunday Soiree at the store. We checked the calendar: nothing happening. We'll bring the food...." Click.
Kitty passed. January passed. Newsletter....didn't happen.
2/1/09 (Could have been happy news - but it's just Stupid Eagles Day.)
Happy news: it's Super Bowl Sunday Soiree! Princess Lisa and Dame Beth's made goodies (delicious!) Diet ruined, totally worth it.
New bead mixes made, new classes posted, class samples finished, website tidied up. Blood sugar at maximum high....(best damn cheescake and chocolate covered fruit I ever ate girls..) thanks!
and so it goes...or went...bead friends...
I'm sorry I missed the newsletter. Blame it on the cat.
Now for some other updates!
We have some beautiful new bead soup mixes brewing - in pretty spring colors! They should be priced and out on the shelves this week.
New czech glass and seed bead colors in too -
Please take a moment to go over to BeadStyle Magazine website and vote for your favorite bead store (this one.) If we get enough votes - your little bead store (this one) will be featured in a future magazine issue. It's fast, and free - (you can vote up to six times!) and it sure would mean a lot to us.
And we would love the exposure!
